Lakeshores Builds

Lakeshores Builds is meant to leverage the expertise of our division members to help with large projects such as benchwork construction, track laying, scenery, electrical/wiring, DCC installation and upgrades, and even general cleanup.  

Building or maintaining a layout by yourself can be a monumentous task, especially if the tasks are something you aren’t quite sure how to do, don’t particularly care to do, or are too big or involved to do alone, and you wish you had a few extra hands.

It also serves as way for those who are experienced to pass knowledge down to the young, and maybe not-so-young, members and also be a valuable resource available to division members.

The Lakeshores Division has many talented members with a variety of skills willing to share those skills and the accompaning knowledge along with a few hours of work effort in exchange for some cold beverages, lunch, and snacks.
